During the summer of 2010, after having dinner on the Lombardi's deck, we met with our Banquet Manager who showed us the Grand Ballroom and described wedding celebrations at Lombardi's on the Sound. About a month later, we met again and he explained all of our options. We immediately felt comfortable and appreciated his efforts. In December, the staff was kind and thorough when we signed our contract and finalized agreement. We eagerly looked forward to meeting with the Wedding Coordinator, who was amazing. She was not only patient, but thorough and caring as well. She made us feel like family. She was creative and had so many great suggestions, which made our decisions easy. It was encouraging for us to be able to discuss the reception with someone who was so knowledgeable and just as excited as we were to insure that our event would be a total success. From the time we arrived on the day of the wedding reception to the close of the day, we were treated with special attention and care. The Maitre'd and the Bridal Attendant took care of all the details and allowed us to enjoy the celebration without worry or concern. Everything went smoothly. Even our Banquet Manager was there to ensure we were satisfied and content with everything. We felt they certainly went out of their way to accomodate us. We definitely felt everyone's professionalism and we also felt the love. The spectacular view speaks for itself. The cocktail and reception rooms were decorated elegantly. The tables were outstandingly set. The choice of table linens and candelabra centerpieces were magnificent. Overwhelmed, we actually cried when we entered the room. As anticipated, the food was exceptionally delicious and displayed beautifully. Lombardi's waitstaff was courteous and efficient. All of our guests have been talking about the reception and commented that it was the best wedding reception they have ever attended. What a compliment to us and to the Lombardi Family and their staff! Our only regret is that the day went so quickly. We hope there will be another occasion in our lives so that we can have another celebration at your establishment. Also, we look forward to continuing to enjoy meals at the Lombardi's restaurants. Dear Lombardi's, Several weeks ago we celebrated our daughter's marriage at your Harbor Hills facility. I am happy to report that the event was a rousing success. The clear sky and dazzling sunshine allowed our guests to enjoy both bars and the terrace with its wonderful view of the Sound. The banquet room was spacious and inviting, and the table settings were perfect and of course, the buffet received unanimous high praise both for the quality and the sheer variety of the menu. But the physical elements alone did not account for the afternoon's success. That everything proceeded without a hitch is eloquent testimony to the professionalism of your employees. From the front office to the Chef, Maitre d', wait staff, bartenders, servers, and kitchen crew, your people worked as a well-coordinated and efficient team to deliver a most wonderful experience. Our thanks and gratitude to the many and to all who were instrumental in making it happen, and an special thank you to those few who were fortunate enough to know by name.
